I’ve been making music since I was 12 years old.
Never incredibly good or with any huge aspirations. Just because it was interesting and fun. And soothing.
Writing songs always seemed like a natural way to make sense out of big feelings.
That’s why it always felt like a personal thing. Not something to share – never mind actually promote.
And I fully expected to grow out of the need to make music.
Yet here we are, decades later. Putting a melody and a beat to whatever comes to mind.
But sharing? Promoting? No way. Not me.
Why is that?
Long story short, it is the usual list of not good enough, don’t deserve it, bla bla bla.
One thing that started helping get over it was making a custom hypnosis track.
Here is a track I made that is designed to help with perfectionism and feeling worth it. It contains binaural beats that work best with headphones.
It is pretty long, so make sure you have enough time, undisturbed to get through it all in one sitting.

If you want to make your own custom hypnosis track, here is a list of questions you can use to create a profile:

Save the answers to a file and upload it to an AI like Claude or ChatGPT and ask it to create a hypnosis script.
Then record yourself reading the script.
Hypnosis works different on different people so your mileage may vary.
Let me know if you need help making one of these.
Happy re-programming 🙂
